Truckee Eye Doctor Launches Content Management System Website

From smallpondstudio.com

Tahoe Sierra Eye & Optical launched a new website this week, featuring information about their state-of-the-art eye surgery and eye care services.

The site, www.tahoeeyemd.com, offers information about the practice’s ophthalmologist, Jeffrey Camp, M.D., and resources for patients looking for eye exams, laser surgery, cataract surgery, or glasses. The website is a content management system, which enables Tahoe Sierra Eye & Optical staff to make updates to their site whenever they like without having to pay a web developer any hourly fees.

“This website is user-friendly for both our clients and our staff,” Dr. Camp said. “It answers a lot of the questions our patients often have -- about my credentials, the safety of various eye surgeries, and general eye care.”

Truckee marketing and graphic design firm SmallPond Studio designed and developed the content management system Web site. SmallPond’s content management system is designed to be flexible and affordable for Truckee and North Tahoe businesses.

Among services offered by Dr. Camp at Tahoe Sierra Eye & Optical are routine exams, contact fittings, full-service optical shop, state-of-the-art cataract and anterior segment surgeries, advanced glaucoma evaluations, dry eye evaluations, corneal diagnostics, refractive surgeries (LASIK, LASEK, PRK, epi-LASIK), and some eyelid surgeries. Dr. Camp has active staff privileges at Tahoe Forest Hospital and provides back-up to the emergency room doctors for eye related problems, both medical and surgical. He is board certified in ophthalmology. For more information on Tahoe Sierra Eye & Optical, visit www.tahoeeyemd.com or call (530) 582-3667.

Marketing ... in a nutshell

Thank you to a SmallPond client for sharing this with us ...

You go to a party and you see an attractive girl across the room. You go up to her and say, "Hi, I'm great in bed, how about it?"
That's Direct Marketing.

You go to a party and you see an attractive girl across the room. You give your friend a buck. She goes up and says "Hi, my friend over there is great in bed, how about it?"
That's Advertising.

You go to a party and see an attractive girl across the room. You somehow get her mobile number. You call and chat her up a while and then say "Hi, I am great in bed, how about it?"
That's Tele-Marketing.

You go to a party and see an attractive girl across the room. You recognize her. You walk up to her, refresh her memory and get her to laugh and giggle and then suggest, "Hi, I am great in bed, how about it?"
That's Customer Relationship Management.

You go to a party and you see an attractive girl across the room. You stand straight, you talk soft and smooth, you open the door for the ladies, you smile like a dream, you set an aura around you playing the Mr. Gentleman and then you move up to the girl and say, "Hi, I am great in bed, how about it?"
That's Hard Selling.

You go to a party, you see an attractive girl across the room. SHE COMES OVER and says, "Hi, I hear you're great in bed, how about it?"

Now THAT is the power of Branding.
